Page 1 is the first page to appear after the software is loaded.
It is an index of most of the available Fairlight pages, and can be used
as a jumping off point to get to the other pages. |

This page shows the interface items that are common to the other Fairlight
pages. In the top left corner of the page is the word "INDEX" which appears
on all pages. When you touch it with the lightpen, the system goes back
to Page 1. At the top of the screen is the title bar, which also displays
error and status messages. Below that is the command line where you
issue typed commands. You can also set your user name on this page, and it is stored on the system disk. Every page in the system has a series of help screens associated with it. Amazingly, the help text covers just about the same information that is found in the printed manual. Next page - Page 2: Disk Control |
